Quality silk is used for my wedding gowns which is ordered from suppliers who provide wonderful fabrics in a range of shades to ensure the most flattering combination for the individual bride.

A test garment is always made up in cotton fabric and any alterations to fit or design are made at this stage before the silk is cut. The silk will be handled as little as possible to maintain its beautiful appearance. Samples of any beading or embroidery will be made for the bride’s approval at this point.

Every dress is fully lined and interlined, hand finished to a high standard and a separate underskirt is made if needed. Often a veil will also be made to complement the dress and complete the perfect picture.
